1. Introduction

At Sanganix AI ("we", "our", or "us"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy applies to our desktop application SynchCast and its related website (synchcast.app and synchcast.sanganixai.com).

2. Analytics and Tracking (GDPR & CCPA)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how users interact with our website. This helps us improve our marketing and website design. GA4 may collect your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited.

Under the EU GDPR and California CCPA, you have the right to opt-out of this tracking. We strictly enforce a consent-first policy: Google Analytics will not load unless you explicitly click "Accept" on our Cookie Consent Banner.

3. Data Collection in the App

SynchCast is designed to be a lightweight, local-first application. We do not collect telemetry, audio data, or usage statistics from the SynchCast desktop application. All audio processing happens entirely locally on your machine.

Device Identifier (License Enforcement)

To enforce our one-device-per-license limit and detect trial abuse, the app creates a device fingerprint: a one-way SHA-256 hash of your Windows Machine GUID and system drive's volume serial number. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you or your device, and it deliberately excludes your name, username, hostname, MAC address, and any file contents. This fingerprint is stored on your device and sent to our license provider (Lemon Squeezy) only during license activation, validation, and deactivation.

Network Connections

When the app activates or checks your license, or checks for updates, our license provider (Lemon Squeezy) and our update servers automatically receive your device's IP address as a normal part of the internet connection. We do not use it to track you.

Automatic Update Checks

Periodically the app contacts our servers to check whether a newer version is available. This sends no personal data beyond the connection described above. If you choose to install an update, the installer is downloaded and its integrity verified before running.

4. Payment and Licensing Data

We use Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a license for SynchCast, your transaction is processed directly by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card information.

Lemon Squeezy shares the following information with us so we can issue your license and provide support:

• Your name and email address
• Your license key and activation status
• Your order history and billing country (for tax purposes)

5. How We Use Your Data

The minimal data we receive from Lemon Squeezy is used strictly for:

• Verifying your license when you activate the app
• Providing customer support and processing refunds
• Sending critical updates regarding the software

6. Data Retention

License records (email, license key status, device fingerprint) are retained by Lemon Squeezy for as long as your license is active and as required for tax/legal purposes. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Local license/trial data stored on your device remains until you uninstall and clear it.

7. Your Privacy Rights

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a resident of California, you have the following rights under the CCPA:

• Right to Know: You can request information about the categories of personal data we have collected.
• Right to Delete: You can request the deletion of your personal data.
• Right to Opt-Out ("Do Not Sell My Info"): We do not sell your personal data. However, our use of Google Analytics may constitute "sharing" under CCPA. You can opt-out by clicking "Decline" on our cookie banner or clearing your cookies.

Your Rights (EEA/UK – GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Our legal bases are: your consent (analytics), performance of a contract (licensing), and legitimate interest (anti-piracy and updates). To exercise these rights, contact us below.

8. Children's Privacy

SynchCast is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy; the current version is always posted here with its effective date.
